Sammy Gerraty (she/hers)

Currently based in San Francisco, Sammy is, above all, a manifestation of the desire to do absolutely everything all at once - less of an artist, more of a walking mental breakdown relying on the arts for sanity. She has and continues to create work about grief and loss on a personal and planetary scale, and hopes that art can help her form an understanding of herself and others in the face of tragedy. Dance and dance choreography in collaboration with live music and the California outdoors are her transcendent language of choice, though she dabbles in costume/lighting design, acting, spoken poetry, and painting.

Supakorn Wongsumdang (he/him)

Supakorn, or Tang, is a composer and a pianist based in Bangkok, Thailand. His favorite routine is composing music where he hopes to find the voice that will speak for him, outside of his mind. When there is too much going on with his composition, he tends to find stories or pictures that spark inspiration and help him with his ideas (or either destroy his ideas and help him begin the new ones.)

Previously working with only the sounds, Tang has recently begun new challenges and is now exploring music and visuals, music and stories, and music and business.

Yunfei Li (she/her)

Yunfei is a composer, violinist based in Kansas City, MO. Yunfei writes music characterized by exploring new sounds on instruments and music software. She takes inspiration from the sounds of nature and has converted nature sounds into musical language as part of her original compositions. With a background that includes both Eastern and Western classical music, she is also inspired by a variety of modern music styles including pop music, electroacoustic music, and film music. As a composer, she has worked with film directors, writers, choreographers, and multimedia artists. Learn more at https://www.yunfeilimusic.com/

Hann Sandoz (they/them)

Hann is currently located in Oberlin, OH. They center their art practice around radical displays of tenderness, favoring dreamy arrangements for vocals, guitar, and laptop. Moving images have had an on-and-off presence in their life for nearly a decade, and they're interested in any kind of work involving displays of trust and meaningful connection. When they're not writing music, programming, planning installations, or designing prints, you might find them repairing bicycles and spending time outside. Their favorite color is blue and their love language is quality time. Learn more at: hannahsandoz.com

Ben Zucker (he/they)

Ben approaches music as a hybrid practice of sound, composition, improvisation, multimedia, and theory, with an eye towards worldmaking practices for sensuous and speculative spaces. Their output includes alternatingly expansive and intense scores, soundtracks, performances, albums, installations, and short films. Previously contributing to a variety of experimental music scenes in New England, London, and the Bay Area, they now live in Chicago, performing, studying, writing, teaching, and organizing. Recognizing the relational and political power of collaboration, they are always on the lookout for artists interested in making dynamic systems for reflective engagement.

Christian Preski (he/him/his)

Christian’s ideal Sunday’s Monday: waking up in the one day federally recognized lands of the Duwamish (Seattle), writing a song, and letting the chickens out before embarking on his next little library pilgrimage.

His ideal Sunday’s Saturday: painting his favorite spice-color combination in oatmeal before volunteering at Yes Farm with housemates. Some afternoons he removes invasive Blackberries to plant Western Red Cedars; others he dances and records a children’s short story as the bus ride scenery guides his plot. At evening’s end Christian plays guitar, singing of all that brings him closer to friends, family, the land and this ideal Sunday.

Olenka Kmak (she/her)

Currently residing in Santa Barbara, California, Olenka’s main art discipline is dance. Covering styles from ballet to hip hop, Olenka has tried (not mastered) a wide range of movement techniques. She is most comfortable in the style of modern. Olenka’s ideal day consists of a magical sunset improvisation jam on the beach, followed by a relaxing candlelit jacuzzi session (or even better, natural hot springs pool) while stumbling upon an avant garde musician on her Spotify playlists. She is constantly inspired to move by the connection of the body to musical rhythms and is ecstatic to collaborate across multimedia art with various sound designers.

Aine E Nakamura (she/her)

My voice is of and with my body. I am a singer, and I am song itself.

Singer, composer and performer Aine E Nakamura was born in Pacific Northwest and grew up there and in Japan. Her artistic development has meant for her search of language for self, which cannot be told simply through one disciplinary or cultural frame, while moving closer to her transnational woman artist identity.

In Life of A Flower-War and lullaby, she performed as a flower, which lived during a war time, from a sprout to the end of the blooming, through her improvised vocal sounds, melody, and body movements. She has presented acoustic compositions, mixed music, fixed music, installations, and improvisation, performing by herself and with other musicians, actors, and dancers. Her involvement in experimental theatre and learning from Butoh have also impacted her performance grammar.

Braeden Doane (she/they)

Braeden is a Toronto-based multimedia artist and producer, working primarily in audio storytelling, sonic art and community radio. Radio was the first love of their life and she still finds herself  overwhelmed by the cosmic magic of songs and stories traveling on airwaves across vast distances, bringing connection and comfort into a moment of loneliness. She is also a cook, a locksmith, a welder, and an aspiring tractor mechanic. Having worked several years in the trades, Braeden continues to study the systems that govern our lives to explore pathways of subversion and reimagining. Their artistic practice is guided by the belief that creative play and building meaningful relationships are foundational to our development. She is committed to working and sharing resources to create safe spaces for young people to play, create and connect with one another.
